The 2009 Daybreaker Rally has been cancelled.

The Manawatu Car Club wishes to advise that the 2009 Daybreaker rally will not be running this year. The committee have given a lot of consideration into the event, and cannot make the event viable.

The event requires a minimum of 60 competitors, and the current economic climate seems to have slowed down the responce from competitors. It must also be stated that the event was booked over 18 months prior to the listed date of the event and there has been considerable upheaval in the sport of rallying with class strutures, which has also added to the pressures of making the event viable.

We will be investigating the future of the Daybreaker rally and will advise all competitors once all information about the rally is available.
